Role Introduction


Reports to: Assistant Manager Digital Experience – Experimentation


This role is part of our Digital Experience Department (DEX), which is dedicated to providing our customers with exceptional digital experiences that are seamlessly integrated into our brand.As the Experimentation Analyst, you play a vital role in optimizing user experience and enabling continuous discovery at every phase of the product development lifecycle. You will be responsible for validating both problems and solutions through comprehensive scaled testing.


You will build and maintain reusable components for Optimizely, implement experiment variants using clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, perform thorough user acceptance testing and quality assurance, and document all implementations to ensure that product teams can operate efficiently.


Key Responsibilities


  • Support of conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategy development and execution across digital touch points, including web and mobile. Design and run personalization and audience segmentation tests to improve B2C customer satisfaction and conversion. Lead A/B testing initiatives by collaborating on hypotheses, planning, execution, and analysis to inform decisions. Drive cross-functional CRO efforts, promote experimentation culture, and serve as SME in personalization and optimizationExecute end-to-end experiments and personalization campaigns in. Optimizely, including setup, monitoring, and reusable components. Convert hypotheses and mockups into working variants with product managers, designers, and engineers. Develop custom code for complex experiments and conduct thorough UAT/QA including accessibility, performance, and rollback checks. Coordinate analytics instrumentation and validation with Insights teams; integrate feature flagging and safe deployment practicesTroubleshoot live experiments, monitor health, and maintain campaign assets across digital platforms. Document implementations and contribute to templates, standards, training, and continuous improvement of analytics tools and processes


Requirements


  • 2+ years of web engineering experience (front-end/full-stack) with strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript skills; React experience is a plusHands-on implementation of experiments using Optimizely, Adobe Target, or similar platforms with custom codeSkilled in writing clear documentation and runbooks. Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Confluence and Jira. Experienced in growth, CRO, A/B testing, and experimentation programs. Proficient in browser DOM manipulation, responsive design, and debugging tools (Chrome DevTools, BrowserStack). Basic understanding of analytics instrumentation (Google/Adobe Analytics) and event validation. Knowledgeable in feature flag systems, accessibility standards (WCAG), and privacy/tracking compliance. Exposure to usability, UX/UI design, and design thinking; some product management experience in fast-paced environments. Fluent in Cantonese, English, and ideally Mandarin; collaborative, hands-on, and eager to learn and solve problems.
